Prof. Ornella Orlandoni – After graduating with honours in Italy, she did postgraduate studies at Trinity College Cambridge, at KU Leuven, at Solvay Brussels School and at Ghent University. At the beginning of her professional career, she worked in press agencies and later at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation as director in the Italian Cultural Institutes abroad, in the Directorate General for the Countries of Americas and finally in the Directorate General for Globalisation. As part of her institutional duties, she organised cultural events and negotiated cultural, scientific, and technological cooperation agreements between Italy, the USA and the countries of the South of the World, including the Italian position for the first EU-CELAC summit. During her career, she has been a consultant for IBM and Special Advisor on the Environment (AD 16 – AD 14) for the European Commission as well as winning a competition as a temporary agent (AD 12). She has also been a lecturer at KU Leuven, Rome La Sapienza and Roma Tre; member of the Board of the College of Europe and of member of the examination commissions for Italian teachers abroad. She has written articles and essays, has participated as a speaker in numerous seminars, and has collaborated with Italian and European magazines and television networks to produce dossiers on Italy’s role in the world; on European and international politics; and on culture, science and technology. At the request of the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, in 1992 she prepared a report on institutional communication, transparency, and access to information that anticipated the advent of the Internet. She also collaborated on drafting legislative projects to reform parliament and Italian cultural institutions abroad. She was a member of the Euro-Latin American Women’s Forum, the Ministry of Economic Development’s Table on Women’s Entrepreneurship, the Committee of Honour, and Habitat World’s Advisor for European Affairs between 2010 and 2014. In 2015, she set up a consultancy company that helps business relations between Europe and Latin American countriesand, in 2016, an innovative startup operating in environmental, technological, and social innovation and the creation of value chains ecosystems. In 2023, she founded CERSTE in Brussels, of which she is President.

Eng. Alfonso Scarano – I graduated in Electronic Engineering and am qualified to practice as an Engineer. I have obtained two master’s degrees: the first in Business Management from MIP – Politecnico di Milano, and the second in Finance from AIAF – Italian Association of Financial Analysts, a title recognized at the European level by Effas – European Federation of Financial Analyst Societies, a pan-European association that includes national associations representing financial analysts. I am professionally qualified as an independent financial analyst. Since 1997, I have been a member of the Italian Association of Financial Analysts, where I served as Vice President (2010). I have been appointed as a Substitute Arbitrator at ABF – Banking and Financial Arbitrator, performing this role at the Torino College. The ABF is a body established at the Bank of Italy for alternative dispute resolution (ADR) that arises between clients and banks and other intermediaries in banking and financial operations and services. I am the President of AssoTAG – Association of Technical Consultants appointed by the Judicial Authority – an association aimed at developing, supporting, protecting, and promoting the activities carried out by the Expert, Technical Consultant, or Assistant as a trusted subject appointed by the judicial authority in civil, criminal, and administrative matters. I am the Vice President of CERSTE – CENTRE EUROPÉEN DES RECHERCHES SOCIO-ÉCONOMIQUES, TECHNOLOGIQUES ET ENVIRONNEMENTALES. I have served as a court-appointed technical consultant on financial and banking economic matters, such as for the Prosecutor’s Office of Trani. I collaborate with consumer associations on issues of financial market transparency and the fairness and transparency of financial products. I have promoted and organized numerous conferences and seminars on economic and financial topics, as well as published numerous articles and contributions in technical journals and popular articles in newspapers and magazines on finance and economics topics, including: corporate and banking valuations, corporate turnarounds, sustainability, banking and financial risk, corporate ratings, sovereign ratings, non-performing loans (NPLs), discount cash flow (DCF) and Terminal Value (TV), Euribor, analysis of financial funds and real estate funds, stock market microstructure, High Frequency Trading (HFT), MIFID, Basel 2 and 3, capital increases, hyper-dilutive capital increases, etc. Among my publications: “How to reduce your mortgage payment and live happily”, published by Aliberti Editore. Dr. Enrico D’Elia is co-founder of the Federico Caffè Group, vice president of CERSTE and the key person for macroeconomic and fiscal analysis. He worked at Eurostat, the Ministry of Finance and the Statistical Office and the Institute for Economic Analysis of Italy. He  participated to many international cooperation projects and wrote about a hundred papers on macroeconomics, behaviour of firms and households, inflation and economic forecasting. Prof. Francesco Quarta – Professor of Institutions of Private Law and Bankruptcy Law in Italian language, and of Principles of Law and EU Law for Algorithm (in English). Author of books and articles on civil and commercial matters in Italy, U.K. and U.S.A. Member of the European Law Institute (ELI), ‘Digital Law’ and ‘Environmental Law’ SIGs. As a Member of the Italian Society of Civil Law Scholars (SISDiC), he is currently involved in the “Economic Civil Law” steering committee, carrying out a study on the impact of ESG factors on financial markets regulation and contracts. In 2013, the Assembly of all Italian Universities’ Rectors and the State Department of Equal Opportunities rewarded his PhD thesis for its distinction in the field of Anti-discrimination law. In 2015, winner of the “S.I.S.Di.C. Scientific Excellence Prize” with his monograph on “Compensation and Punishment in Tort Law”. Dr. Riccardo Forni – Born in 1957, professional journalist since 2000, publicist since 1985. Past President of the Ferrara Press Association, Aser-Fnsi section. Family roots spread between the lower Mantua area, the Partecipanza Agraria of the lower Bolognese area and the Austrian Carnia, he has lived in Ferrara since birth; today with his wife Silvia, biochemistry, and his children Caterina, Francesco and Federico. After scientific high school, he carried out humanistic and technical-scientific university studies, with irony and methodical doubt, practiced intellectual curiosity and continuous updating as a professional rule, until he graduated in Psychoeconomics with a thesis, which later became the only investigative book “Case- history of Fondazione e Carife S.p.a” on the local savings Bank liquidated by the Government in 2016. Since 1982, he has been involved in information and communication, working for the Province of Ferrara, then, since 2007 for the Local Health Authority, today, for the Municipality of Ferrara. He is an expert in information emergencies and social and business communication plans. Develops media relations media and organizes the contents of the press offices, personalizing the client’s language with advertising factors and the added value of public relations. Prof. Luca Poma – Journalist and writer, author of books, essays and articles, he works as a University Professor and specialist in Reputation management. Involved both online and off in projects relating to digital media strategy and non-conventional communication, CSR and crisis prevention. Professional member of FERPI – Italian Public Relations Federation and the National Medical-scientific Information Union (UNAMSI). Member of the “Non-Financial Information, KPIs and crisis prediction for SMEs” research group, within the Italian Organisation for Business Reporting – Sustainability, Non-Financial and Integrated Reporting (OIBR), the go-to body in Italy for reporting and disclosure of non-financial information and integrated thinking. Prof. Pasquale Troncone Il sottoscritto TRONCONE Pasquale, ha conseguito la Laurea in Giurisprudenza il 16 luglio 1985 dell’A.A. 1985-86 presso l’Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, con una tesi in diritto penale dal titolo “Il reato progressivo”, relatore il Prof. Vincenzo Patalano. Dr. Saveria Sechi An economist expert in legislative drafting and analysis of the economic, social and financial implications of laws, she was a parliamentary official and in charge of the economic and legislative office in the Parliamentary Groups of the Chamber of Deputies for 30 years. Lecturer in legislative technique, she has held academic positions and lectures in industrial economics and project finance.
